Notes
The Brett/Eveleigh Property is a grouping of three fisheries buildings. Built in 1870, the wharf house is a two storey, low pitch gable roof, wooden building supported on wood posts on the beach. Built by John Brett, it was used for various fishing purposes. The trap store, built in 1910 by Charles Brett, is a one storey, steeply pitched gable roof wooden building located in close proximity to the wharf house. It is supported partially by rocks and partially by wood posts and was used for mending fishing gear and storing dried fish. The 1850 stage is a mid-pitch gable roof, wooden building extending over the water and supported by wooden cribbing. It was built by James Eveleigh and was used for salting and drying fish.
