This store was built in the 1960s by Mr. James King, who used it to store and repair fishing gear. He also used it to repair his fishing boat from time to time. In the 1970s he built his own trap skiff in the store. Mr. King retired from the fishery in the early 1990s and sold the store to Gerald Miller.
