Edward Payne’s Store, known locally as Randy’s Fish Store, was constructed in 1961 by Edward Payne and his sons Carl and Sam. The tallest store in Parsons Pond, it was built on stilts and made from local materials. The store is rectangular in shape with a mid-pitch gable roof, wide plank doors and unadorned exterior. In 2001 the store was purchased by local fisherman Randy Parsons.
