Notes
This fishing shed/store was built by John Freeman in the 1950s and was one of three buildings that used to exist as part of the fishing premises. Most of the wood used to build the shed was salvaged from a home that had been torn down in Champney’s West. John Freeman died in 1994 and passed his fishing room on to his son Allan Freeman. Allan used this shed to store his fishing gear until he died in 1999. Allan’s sons Daryl and Wayne inherited the building and use it to store gear for their fishing enterprise.
