Notes
The King/Reid/Peters Premises dates back to the early 1900s. Michael King was the original owner of the premises. In 1945 the premises was sold to Alexander Reid. Mr. Reid and his four sons fished here until 1987, when the premises was acquired by Bruce Peters. The stage, twine store and wharves on the site were used in the inshore fishery. Cod traps were made and mended here, boats were hauled out and repaired, fishing crews were housed here and salt fish was processed at the premises.
