These premises were built by Barton Turnbull, who lived at Boulders Rock, Labrador and later relocated to Triangle after he married a woman from Port Hope Simpson. Triangle was much closer to his wife’s home. Barton built on one of the rooms previously established at Triangle. The stage and store were inherited by his son Alex and then by his grandson Edward.
