This stage and wharf was built in the 1960s by Larry Watton when he moved to Champney’s Arm from Ireland’s Eye during the resettlement program. Mr. Watton used the stage in the commercial fishery for landing and processing his catch. Ernest Hiscock purchased the property in 2008.
