Notes
This fisheries building is located on Camp Islands, off the coast of Labrador, south of Battle Harbour and north of Henley Harbour. Camp Islands was a seasonal summer fishing station for fishermen engaged in the salt cod and salmon fisheries. The stage was used to process salt cod and salmon which were sold to Earle’s Freighting Service in Battle Harbour. The stage was used to process cod until the 1992 cod moratorium and was used for the salmon fishery until that fishery closed in 1996.
