This stage was built by Edward Toope in 1954 when he moved to Trinity from the resettled community of Ireland’s Eye. It was built from rough lumber sawed from logs he cut himself. The floor boards came from an earlier salt store, owned by the Ryan family, that had been on the site when Edward bought the property.
