Notes
Wells Stage is a wooden one storey mid pitch roofed building clad in vertical board. It was constructed circa 1880 by Rupert Wells. Rupert passed the stage on to his son Bob, who shared the stage with Heber and Mark Wells. Bob and Heber used the stage for fishing activities while Mark, who ran a business, used his part for the storage of salt fish, oil and coal. Mark passed the stage on to his nephew Roy Batson in 1961. Roy then passed the stage on to his sons Reg and Doug in 1981.
